Network Marketing

Hi Friends,
I have been reading up on network marketing recently. Like it or not it's something that is catching up everywhere around the world.
Network marketing as a concept sounds really catchy. It is definitely marred by a lot of fraud companies coming up with schemes which are unsustainable. But on the other hand there are definitely some good companies who have implemented these schemes in a honest manner.
Looking around I have found a lot of information explaining network marketing schemes but without any real world explanations. Then there are a lot of blogs on network marketing material, but it seems to be too narrow in scope and a bit biased by author's viewpoints.
Hence, I am taking up an initiative to collect real world examples of people who have actually participated in such schemes and can give me details of those schemes. I hope to receive some information which is hopefully backed by conclusive evidence to the statement.

Just an observation that I think can help improve copy and initial interactions with prospects. For organizations that still send their sales people door- to- door, remember cold calling is about discovering decision makers, not overcoming objections. (Outside sales' prospecting is still common in business- to- business industrial markets.)

Network Marketing? How you got interested in that?

Reality is most Indians thinks Network Marketing is a Scam. And the number of people you can include with yourself are must be "salesman personality". So my verdict is its of people with Lots of Time (No money required I accept) and Persuation Skills. And even after that - The day you stop working so does your income!

I got the idea cos a couple of my friends have joined a couple of those schemes. So, I researched a bit about it. There's definitely some nice things about the concept. And if I can do something on the lines of what I am thinking, it will serve me nicely for MBA admissions too

And it definitely is a nice concept to learn for someone who wants to try management.

yes, the skills required to persuade a person to join is commendable if someone do.

The trick lies in how much good you can prove your point and not in criticizing others business. It's kind of practical management experience.

A person can actually gain self confidence, verbal efficacy, cunning mind and name/fame (albeit most of the time its notoriety among the ones envious of). Of course money is primary emolument here.

But business can be cruel, so my advice is to keep away from any kind of business if you want peace of mind and a normal average happy life ;p Yes that includes a diffident caring and helpful nerd. Happiness lies in the happiness of weak and the wounded. There is nothing more satisfied than non-exaggerated caring for other life forms.

The best way to know network Marketing is to meet expert in this industry.
Losers never knows potential of network marketing.
If you have pain in your teeth, whom will you meet? Dentist. Am I right?

Yes there is specialization in MBA also in some university on MLM.
